Hello, My name is Tara Tindall and I am coming back to school after several decades in the workforce. I was working for a company in Albany, OR. that went through a "Reduction in Workforce" and I was reduced. I had some options, and qualified for unemployment benefits. In the state of Oregon if you are collecting unemployment you can look for work, start a business or go back to school and still get your weekly benefits. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to finally go back to school. I enrolled in the One Year Business Certificate because I have always wanted to be my own boss. I am tired of working for other people's dreams. I want to put in the time and effort for myself. I have been a part of a business before, in Alabama, my mother and I had an antique/home interior shop and we took a lot of things on consignment.
